Harlequin

Description: Harlequin is a special horse that appeared with the carnival. This horse has a colorful coat, and is there to brighten up the days in March. Harlequin is the king of the carnival; his presence improved the parades of the players.
How to Obtain: Harlequin was originally obtained by buying packs of 10 passes on certain days during Carnival of 2010 or for taking First in the parade contest during that time. These days, Harlequin is obtained from various Howrse Promotions and the sales.
Sellable: Yes
Additional Information: Harlequin is the only horse able to wear the Masks. Each mask gives a +12 bonus in a specific skill.

How to Obtain: Archimedes was a prize for those who did exceptionally well (or contributed a lot) to Howrse's now defunct sister site: Howrse Quiz. These days, he is obtained from various Howrse Promotions.

Additional Information: Once a day, if you visit an Archimedes and get his question correct, you win an aging point! Giving an incorrect answer will do nothing and you will not be able to try again until the next day - even if you visit a different Archimedes.

Description: Players who own a Falabella have 1 chance in 100 of winning a bonus when they register one of their horses in a competition. Players with 2 Falabellas have 2 chances in 100 of getting the bonus, and so on... The bonus is effective for 4 days in the life of the horse; it cannot be accumulated.
How to Obtain: Falabellas were originally obtained for having your egg hatch during Howrse's Celebrating the Family event in the summer of 2010. These days, he is obtained from various Howrse Promotions.

Additional Information: Falabellas come in five different colors and have a different name meaning 'small' in various Languages. The names and colors are as follows:

The Sleipnir may be invoked: if a player who owns a Sleipnir fails to take care of it for 7 consecutive days, or if the player has not logged on for 30 days, the Sleipnir runs away. In such a case, other owners of a Sleipnir may retrieve it, since an invocation link appears on their own Sleipnir's page. The Sleipnir belongs to the player who manages to invoke it.

Croesus

Description: Croesus is a Divine horse that produces money instead of manure. Every 13th day of each month, Croesus earns his owner 1 pass provided the owner was logged on the previous day. If the 13th falls on a Friday, Croesus earns his owner 2 passes.
Every month, one horse among those named Junior Croesus is turned into Croesus.
How to Obtain: Croesus was originally obtained by the first 100 People to reach the VIP level of the Achievements [what we had before the objectives]. Today, Croesus are obtained from various Howrse promotions and by winning what I call the 'Croesus Lottery'.

Additional Information: Croesus gives his owner an average of 300e per day, and 1 pass on the 13th. If the 13th is a Friday, he gives out 2 passes.
'Croesus Lottery' = Once a month *on the 13th* a horse named 'Junior Croesus' will transform into an actual Croesus. How to Obtain: Originally obtained during the Potion Event of 2011 - you needed to make 30 other potions, then make Sapphire's potion.Now the only way to obtain them is from various Howrse Promotions.

Additional Information: Sapphire gives his owner a Diamond on the even days, and 1,000e on the odd days but only if you follow his instruction. His instruction will appear in his Actions Box and will say the following: Sapphire is waiting for you the player's page PLAYER Simply copy down the player's name into the directory and go to it. Only once during the game, on the 1st of a month, if you have at least one of each that's still alive, you can transform one into a Palomino Sleipnir on its profile page. Females can reproduce once with a Greyfell male, giving birth to another Greyfell.
